Blake trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and became
a registered architect in 1984. He is a member of the RIBA (Royal
Institute of British Architects) and ARB (Architects Registration
The practice, John Blake – Architect, was established in
1991 and is an RIBA registered practice.
The use of carbon neutral energy as the primary heat source for
new houses is becoming a speciality of the practice and as well
as providing an insurance policy against future rises in energy
costs, can assist in obtaining a beneficial planning consent.
